Employees goofing off on non work related websites and infecting computers with spyware and viruses.

We build each computer with an identical image and secures the computers to restrict unapproved application and internet access. This prevents %99 percent of computer issues such as spyware, virus, and wasted employee work hours.  One of the leading methods that computers get compromised is via free webmail programs offered by MSN, Yahoo, Google, and otehrs.  Access to these email sites should be heavily restricted or blocked altogether.  It would be too easy for an employee to inadvertently send HIPAA information through an unsecured webmail client and there is no way to track it.
Computers are missing critical software updates and performance is poor.

All computers, application servers, and router hardware is standardized across all clients which expedites tracking of critical updates and deployment of updates.
It seems like we just purchased Anti-virus software last year and we already need to renew?

Antivirus must be updated every year and should be monitored on a daily basis from a central location. The ArcLight Group managed services can remotely install and monitor your antivirus software and prevent the spread of viruses. We will also notify you in advance on any required software renewals depending on the contract terms.
 The server is slow!

Typicaly this is simply a lack of maintenance on the server and the dapplication databases that you utilize.  Most application databases are supported by costly third party companies. Many issues can be prevented and/or resolved by simply performing periodic database maintenance. The ArcLight Group will work with your EMR, EHS, or other software company to develop a plan for proper system maintenance that doesn't disrupt your day to day operations.
We backup our data sometimes, but we don't know how to restore our data and we don't test restoring data so how do we know if our backups are working?

If your organization is doing backups, chances are good that they are not periodicaly tested. The ArcLight Group will perform periodic backup and restore testing on your mission critical files and applications. We can even remotely restore files deleted months previously. Our backup software empowers you to restore files deleted within the preceding ten to three hundred and sixty five days depending on the terms of your contract.
Our disaster recoverly plan is to make an insurance claim after our office floods.

Insurance can't pay for lost opportunity and lost patient faith.  Few small busienss have disaster recoverly plans. It is often seen as a huge expense for something that just doesn't add that much bennefit. The truth is that a disaster recoverly plan is only as costly as you want it to be. The ArcLight Group takes a tiered approach to disaster recovery that can meet any organizations needs.
The internet is down again!  If only we had a backup internet connection!

Typicaly a small medical office will have a single internet connection and a single server. This type of architecture creates multiple points of failure. Business class DSL and Cable internet are very inexpensive and can dramaticaly improve your business's uptime. The ArcLight Group recomends dual WAN failover internet access
Every time the power goes out or surges we have to wait fourty five mintues for the server to reboot.  I bill in five minute increments so this is realy costing me!

Most desktop computers and laptops do not require battery backup systems. Servers on the other hand should always be put on a battery backup with active monitoring. Battery backup testing should be performed every quarter to ensure that servers will not be damaged by power outages or surges.
Sure, we have a server somewhere, but I'm not sure where it is or if its working properly until it stops working.

Your servers house all of your data. This is the most important piece of equipment you own. Many small companies put large amounts of money into their servers only to stick them in a small cramped unventilated closet where they die a slow death from dust and overheating. Most modern servers are equiped with redundent drives called a RAID system. Although RAID systems allow for redundency it is good to keep in mind that drives installed at the same time will likely fail at about the same time. That is why it is imperative that you actively monitor your RAID array to ensure that any drives that fail are replaced imediately. RAID is only as good as your abiltiy to respond to a drive failure. Let the ArcLight Group take on this responsibility.
We bought a bunch of apps and each one is fantastic, but it shure would be nice if they all worked together so we didn't have to keep copying  information between the applications wasting valuable staff time.

Lets face it, you are likely using several applications that are fantastic at a few things but were lacking in other areas so you purchased additional software. Over the years you have likely added five or six different applications to meet changing needs in your organization. Wouldn't it be nice if all the applications worked together? Wouldn't it be great if there was some way to integrate the applications? We can integrate most software packages for less than it cost your organization in downtime. We can even help you quantify the lost revenue and wasted effort and estimate the savings in a cost bennefit plan.
We got a fancy new  $600 switch in the office today at 2:00 PM and it only took two hours to get the bugs worked out.  My cost in lost revenue due to downtime was $1,000!

The ArcLight Group works around your schedule. We can work any hours you specify.
I called support and they are supposedly working on the issue.  I'll call back in an hour if the problem persists.

The ArcLIght Groupo uses a state of the art project and support ticket tracking system that updates you as work is performed. Turn around on projects and support requests are subject for negotiation. You can choose how quickly you need support and we can work out an agreement that meets your organziations expectations for anything from standard support to critical system down support.
I dont' understand all this IT stuff so I keep renewing contracts wtihout negotiation.

Has your office been renewing the same T1 contrat for the past ten years without renegotiationg the contract? What about your phone system? If you answer yes to either of these questions there is a good chance that we can dramaticaly reduce your monthly bills.

I JUST WANT THINGS TO WORK!
